Modbap Osiris
Corry Banks, founder of Modbap Modular, created the Osiris oscillator to merge modular synthesis with hip-hop production. Osiris is a compact 12HP bi-fidelity wavetable oscillator featuring multiple timbre modes, a sub-oscillator with independent pitch control, built-in VCA, pitch quantizer, and SD card support for custom wavetables. Banks designed it to be versatile yet space-efficient, ideal for both basslines and melodies.
For deeper insight, watch his Lablifepro interview, where he discusses the creative vision behind Osiris and his approach to sound design.
Modbap Trinity v1
In this video, Corry Banks, founder of Modbap Modular, introduces the Trinity Drum Synth Array, a 20HP Eurorack module featuring three independent drum channels. Each channel utilizes one of four synthesis algorithms: BLOCK (analog-inspired), HEAP (additive), NEON (FM), and ARCADE (noise-based). Banks demonstrates how these algorithms can be used to create a wide range of drum sounds, from classic kicks and snares to experimental textures. He also showcases features like Cycle Modes (Round Robin and Random) and Stack Modes for layered voice triggering, highlighting the module's versatility for various music production styles.
